De Auditor AI
De Auditor AI helps you spot scams, understand alerts and stay safe. Here is how it works, what it learns from, and its limits.
What it does
- Scam check (Audit Am): paste a message, describe a call, or attach a screenshot. The AI tells you whether it looks like a scam, why, and what to do. Any phone numbers it finds are also checked against reports approved by our team.
- Safety assistant (Guard): ask what to do in a robbery, kidnapping, flood, fire or medical emergency, or before a trip. It uses our first-aid and safety content and recent alerts in your state.
- Report checking: before an alert goes public, the AI checks it for calls to violence, hate, personal information and duplicates, so our team can review risky posts first.
- Briefings: our control room and partner agencies get AI summaries of alerts in a state to plan patrols.
How it learns
De Auditor AI runs on a large language model from our AI provider. We make it "ours" by giving it De Auditor's knowledge: our scam-game cases, scam reports approved by our team, the scam-number index and our safety content. When our team corrects an AI answer, that correction becomes an example the AI follows next time. Your private messages, location and SOS are not used to teach the AI.
Your privacy
When you use a scam check or the assistant, the text or image you choose to send is processed by our AI provider to produce the answer. Under its commercial terms, it does not use that content to train its own models. Don't send passwords, PINs, OTPs, BVN or card numbers — the AI never needs them. We keep scam-check questions for 30 days to fix problems and prevent abuse, then delete them, unless you choose to report the message as a scam.
Limits
- AI can be wrong. A "looks OK" answer doesn't prove something is safe; a "scam" answer isn't proof that someone is a criminal.
- It isn't legal, medical or financial advice. In an emergency, call 112.
- AI checks a day: Free 3, Premium 20, and each person on a Family plan 20.
- We use AI to help our team, not replace it. A person reviews before an account is banned.
